Materials Used:
- Item 1 Pinwheel
Cardstock = square any size. This one was made with 6 x 6 brilliant blue cardstock. Stamps = Stars and Swirls Ink = craft white DIRECTIONS: 1. Fold cardstock diagonally in both directions and then re-open cardstock 2. place eyelet into center of cardstock where diagonal folds meet. 3. clip along diagonal lines to within one inch of center 4. using paper piercing tool or 1/16th inch hole punch, make a hole in the upper left hand corner of each triangular segment. 5. using piercing tool, make a hole in the top of a small dowel rod. 6. bring each of the pierced edges of cardstock to the middle and put a brad through the hole on each of the segments. Open the ears on this brad. 7. take a second brad and run it through the eyelet in the center and place the pointed ends into the hole in the dowel rod. (you may want to add a small drop of glue to the hole to hold the brad securely in place.
- Item 2 Pop up invitation
Cardstock = Real Red, Brilliant Blue, Natural White Stamps = stars and swirls, All Year Cheer, star studded wheel Inks= craft white, brilliant blue, real red DIRECTIONS: 1. cut Real Red cardstock 4 1/2 x 11 inches. 2. Score at 1, 2 3/4, 3 3/4,5 1/2, 7 1/4, 8 1/4, and 10 inches. 3. Cut a slit at the 5 1/2 inch fold, leaving about 1/4 inch on both edges attached. 4. Using wheel and white ink, roll design onto one side of the cardstock. 5. stamp stars stamp from stars and swirls set onto the 3 x 5 1/5 inch natural white cardstock. (stamp off onto scrap paper first to get a lighter shade of red) 6. stamp the information stamp from the all year cheer set over the red stars using brilliant blue ink. 7. layer this onto the 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 brilliant blue cardstock. 8. stamp "You're invited" onto the small piece of natural white cardstock and layer this onto the smaller piece of brilliant blue cardstock. 9. fold red cardstock inward on all of the score lines. 10. slide the invitation through the slit in the red cardstock. 11. attach the end of the blue and white invitation between the two ends of the red cardstock, so that you form a"box" on each side of the invitation (see image above). 12. add a ring from the Hodge podge hardware and attach a ribbon. 13. the invitation will slide into the red cardstock and lay flat for mailing.
